Pierre only recently got the diagnosis of dementia. When visiting the couple it seems like Pierre has accepted his future, but his wife Anna finds it hard to cope with the uncertainty of her husband's condition. Anna asks Pierre to make her a coffee, but arriving at the Senseo-machine he has to ask how it works. Only five minutes before he had made a coffee for himself without asking for help. Anna was noticeably irritated and shouted the steps Jean had to go through in order to make a coffee; ‘take a pad out of the silver box, then lay the pad in the machine, take out the back of the machine and fill it with water…’ and at the same time rolling her eyes at me.
